Police, EMS Respond to Fatal Shooting in Zone 1

Summary:

At approximately 3:30 p.m., Police in Zone 1 responded to the 3300 block of Brighton Road for reports of a gunshot victim.

Arriving officers found a male with gunshot wounds. EMS transported the victim in critical condition. He was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

It appears the shooting may have occurred after an altercation at nearby business.

Major Crimes is investigating.
