UPDATE: Phillip Hughson was arrested and faces multiple charges, including Burglary, Criminal Trespass and Endangering the Welfare of Children. 

ORIGINAL STORY:

Around 3 p.m., officers in Zone 5 responded to a home on the 5000 block of Columbo Street for a male in violation of a PFA. 

SWAT was called to the scene after the male reportedly barricaded inside the home with a 4-year-old child.  

Fire and EMS also responded. 

A female was able to leave the residence safely on her own accord, after which SWAT utilized verbal hails and negotiations. 

The actor was eventually taken into custody and the child was safely recovered from the home. 

There was no use of force during the incident and the child was cleared by paramedics and released.

The investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided when available.
