First Responders Dispatched for Serious Single Vehicle Collision in Carrick

Summary:

At approximately 4:20 p.m., Police from Zone 3, Fire and EMS responded to Brownsville Road at Birmingham Avenue for reports of a vehicle crashed into a utility pole.

Officers located a driver who was trapped inside a truck. EMS Rescue crews and Fire extricated the male and he was transported to the hospital in critical condition. There was no one else inside the vehicle.

Police will investigate the cause of the crash.
