Police Investigate Shooting Death in Bedford Dwellings

Summary:

Just before 6:20 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 responded for reports of a male who had suffered a gunshot wound to the face in the 2100 block of Bedford Avenue.

The victim, who was in his 40's, was located just inside an apartment at the rear of a multi-unit dwelling.

Medics pronounced him deceased on scene. One male was transported to headquarters for questioning.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
