Police Investigate After Shots Fired Downtown

Summary:
At approximately 1:07 a.m., Zone 2 units already in the area of 6th Avenue and Smithfield Street reported hearing multiple gunshots fired into the air.
No one was injured.
There were multiple areas of property damages including to a parked vehicle and a traffic control box.
A police car also sustained damage but was not thought to be targeted.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
