First Responders Rescue Pedestrian Following Collision

Summary:
Police from Zone 1, Fire and EMS were dispatched to Hazlip Way on the Central North Side following reports of an individual struck by a pickup truck at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Responding units located an adult female pinned beneath the vehicle. EMS Rescue 2, along with Pittsburgh Fire 32 Engine, conducted a vehicle lift to extricate the patient who was conscious and alert throughout.
Medics transported her to the hospital in stable condition.
The driver of the vehicle remained on scene to provide information to police.
The investigation is ongoing.
