SWAT Responds to Domestic Call in the South Side Slopes

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to the 2600 block of McCord Street at approximately 12:40 a.m. following a 9-1-1 call where a female stated she had been assaulted.
Arriving units made contact with the caller who wouldn't come outside or allow police to enter the residence. SWAT was called to verify her safety and ensure she wasn't being held against her will.
She eventually exited the residence after speaking with negotiators. SWAT utilized technology to clear the house and found no one else inside.
Tactical medics evaluated the female who stated she was unhurt and refused further medical care.
The investigation is ongoing.
