Police Investigate After One Person Shot in Parking Lot

Summary:
Around approximately 9:08 a.m., Zone 5 officers responded to the parking lot of a gas station on the 4900 block of Baum Blvd for reports of a shooting.
First responders found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. It appears he was outside of the vehicle at the time of the shooting.
Fire and EMS also responded. EMS transported him to a local hospital in stable condition.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene and VCU is investigating.
There is no one in custody at this time.
