ARREST UPDATE: Police Respond to Fatal Shooting on Banksville Road

ARREST UPDATE: Pittsburgh Police VCU detectives have arrested Connor Cusick Makstutis, 23, of Beechview in connection with this incident.
He is charged with one count of Criminal Homicide and is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
Original incident details:
Police from Zone 6 responded for shots fired on Banksville Road at Crane Avenue at approximately 4:45 p.m.
Arriving officers located a male victim inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound to the chest. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition. He was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Major Crimes detectives interviewed a male suspect at police headquarters.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
