Pittsburgh Police Homicide Unit detectives have arrested three people in connection with a non-fatal shooting that occurred on November 24, 2022, in the 700 block of Sherwood Avenue in the city’s Sheraden neighborhood. A 15-year-old male and an 18-year-old male were shot and injured in the incident.
Jordan McMeans, 21, Akir Williams,19, and Queshawn Williams, 18, are each charged with Aggravated Assault, Criminal Attempt Homicide, Criminal Conspiracy, and Firearms not to be Carried without a License. McMeans was also charged with Possession of Stolen Property.
All three were apprehended by the US Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force and the City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit. They are currently housed at the Allegheny County Jail.
Both victims were treated at the hospital and have recovered from their injuries.
It should be noted that patrol officers from Zone 6 Station performed quick life-saving measures on one of the victims which was crucial in not only saving his life, but also expediting his recovery from substantial injuries.
