Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 were called to the 1700 block of Letsche Street just before 1 p.m. for reports of a woman who had been stabbed.
Responding units spoke with a female who had suffered a long laceration to the side and back of her neck, and another smaller wound to the back of her head. She was evaluated by medics, but refused transport to the hospital.
The victim told police she had been involved in a verbal altercation with her neighbor and that the female suspect later stabbed her as they scuffled outside an apartment building. Police spoke with the suspect who had suffered minor injuries during the initial incident. They also recovered a knife at the scene.
Shamerea Wilson, 29, of Pittsburgh was arrested and charged with one count of Aggravated Assault and is currently being held at the ACJ following medical clearance at the hospital.
