Police have charged 29-year-old Aaron Smith, of Pittsburgh, for a fatal shooting on February 5, 2023.
The homicide occured on the 600 block of Chautauqua Street in Pittsburgh's North Side.
On March 29, City of Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, with the assistance of the Altoona Police Department, took Aaron Smith into custody without incident in Altoona, PA.
He is charged with Criminal Homicide, Persons Not to Possess a fFrearm, Carrying a Firearm without a License, and Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Homicide.
Smith will be transported to Allegheny County to face charges.
