SWAT Responds to Male in Crisis in Zone 1

Summary:

At approximately 3:15 p.m., Zone 1 officers, Fire and EMS responded to an overdose call regarding a male at a home in the 1100 block of High Street.

It was determined the subject was in crisis, and he barricaded himself inside the home.

SWAT was called to the scene, and after speaking with negotiators, the male surrendered.

He was taken into custody without incident and taken to get necessary resources.

There were no injuries.
