Police Respond to Shooting in Hazelwood

At approximately 11:30 p.m. on April 7, police in Zone responded to several Shotspotter alerts near Flowers Avenue in Hazelwood.

Responders located a male suffering a graze gunshot wound to the neck. The victim said he was shot on Flowers Avenue by unidentified males before he fled to a nearby home for help.

EMS transported him in stable condition

The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene and the investigation is ongoing.
