Police Locate Deceased Male in Abandoned House, Violent Crime Unit Investigating

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 were called to an abandoned property in the 7600 block of Baxter Street on April 10 at 4:45 p.m. after receiving information of a possible deceased person inside.
Responding units entered the house through an open front door and located a male on the third floor with gunshot wounds to his face.
Medics pronounced him deceased at the scene. The Mobile Crime Unit responded to collect evidence.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
The investigation is ongoing.
