Two Stabbed Downtown, Police Arrest SuspectÂ

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 were called to the area of Sixth Avenue and Smithfield Street just before 11 p.m. for reports of an aggravated assault.
Responding officers located a male victim with a deep laceration and applied a tourniquet to his left arm. Medics transported him to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.
A second male with a stab wound approached police and was treated by medics before being transported to the hospital in stable condition.
A male suspect was arrested and a weapon was retrieved at the scene. He faces multiple charges.
The investigation is ongoing.
