County Police Investigate Critical Incident in Zone 3

Summary:
At approximately 8:33 a.m., a 911 call came in from a distressed female saying she was being held against her will in a vehicle.
Zone 3 officers responded and located the vehicle in the 2900 block of Devlin Street with a female and child inside.
Upon locating the vehicle and there were shots fired by police in attempt to rescue the female and child.
The female and child were safely recovered from the vehicle and being further assessed.
The actor was transported in stable condition.
This is confirmed as a critical incident/officer-involved shooting.
Allegheny County Police will be investigating.
