Police Investigate Shots Fired in Perry South, One Injured

Summary:
Police from Zone 1 responded to a ShotSpotter alert for 11 shots fired in the 200 block of Kennedy Avenue at approximately 5:50 p.m.
While officers were en route, they learned that City cameras captured the driver of a silver SUV shooting from the window of the vehicle.
Arriving units located damage to a residence, but there were no victims or witnesses on scene. A short time later, a 19-year-old male victim arrived at the hospital by private means in stable condition with gunshot wounds.
There are no arrests at this time. Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
