Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to two separate ShotSpotter alerts for multiple shots fired in the 60 block of E. Amanda Avenue just before 7:10 p.m.
Responding officers attended to a male victim who had suffered an abrasion and swelling to his left shoulder blade from a possible graze wound. He was transported to the hospital in stable condition.
Police also located a vehicle that sustained damage from the gunfire and a second vehicle that had been struck by the aforementioned vehicle and was towed from the area.
The Mobile Crime Unit recovered several shell casings at the scene.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
