PBF and Fire Investigation Unit Respond to Fire in Allegheny East Airbnb

Summary:
Pittsburgh Bureau of Fire and the Fire Investigation Unit responded for a residential structure fire at 900 Madison Avenue at 10:21 am.
The resident self-evacuated and flagged down a passerby to call 9-1-1.
PBF was able to extinguish the fire and there were no reported injuries. The Fire Investigation Unit conducted a scene investigation and the fire was ruled accidental. The occupant was arrested on unrelated drug charges and transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
