Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 responded to a 16-round ShotSpotter alert in the 2400 block of Chauncey Drive just before 1:15 a.m.

A male victim reportedly ran from the area and arrived at the hospital in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds.

The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.

The investigation is ongoing.
