Police Investigate Fatal Shots Fired Incident in West Oakland

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 responded to two separate ShotSpotter alerts for a total of 9 shots fired in the 2500 block of Allequippa Street just before 9:30 p.m.
Arriving units located two female victims at the scene. Pittsburgh EMS transported one of the females to the hospital in critical condition where she was later pronounced deceased.
Medics transported the other female to a separate hospital in stable condition. A third victim, a male, arrived at an area hospital in critical condition by private means.
Detectives from the Violent Crime Unit are investigating. The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
