Pittsburgh Police Arrest Male Wanted in Hill District Shooting

Summary:
The Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit and the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force apprehended Damon Peters, 19, overnight in the Hill District.
Peters was arrested for the shooting incident that critically injured a male on June 9, 2023 in the 2400 block of Chauncey Drive. He was also wanted on two additional unrelated warrants.
Peters is charged with Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person (2 counts), Carrying a Firearm Without a License, and Persons Not to Possess a Firearm, and Criminal Mischief.
He is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
