Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 responded to the hospital after a male with gunshot wounds arrived by private means just after 6 a.m.
The male had been struck at least twice, but did not provide information to officers about where the incident occurred. He arrived at the hospital in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
