Police Investigate After Adult Male Shot and Killed in East Hills

Summary:

Just after 9 p.m, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to a ShotSpotter alert for 5 rounds in the 2200 block of Wilner Drive.

Arriving units located an adult male shot in the neck at that location and attempted to render aid until EMS arrived. He was pronounced deceased on scene by medics.

The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene. Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
