EMS, Police Respond to Vehicle/Motorcycle Collision in Carrick

Summary:
Pittsburgh Bureau of Police officers from Zone 3 responded to calls of a motorcycle struck by a vehicle on Brownsville Road at Copperfield Avenue in Carrick just before 10:15 p.m.
When they arrived on scene they found the male motorcyclist on the ground with serious head wounds.
He was transported to the hospital by EMS in critical condition.
The male driver of the vehicle told police he was making a turn when he struck the motorcyclist.
The Bureau’s Collision Investigation Unit arrived to process the scene.
The investigation continues.
