Police Respond for Shotspotter Alert in East Hills on July 12, One Injured

Summary:
At approximately 1:45 p.m. on July 12, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to ShotSpotter alerts totaling 7 rounds in the 2500 block of Park Hill Drive.
Officers located a male with a graze wound to the arm and applied a tourniquet and first aid to the victim. Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
One officer received a non-life-threatening injury during a foot pursuit of a possible suspect.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
