Police, EMS, Fire Respond for Two-Vehicle Crash on the North Side with Critical Patient

Summary:
At approximately 7:15 p.m., Police from Zone 1, EMS, Fire responded to the intersection of Sandusky Street and E. General Robinson Street for a two-vehicle collision.
One vehicle struck a light standard entrapping the driver and passenger. Rescue 2 extricated the driver, who was transported by Medic 4 in critical condition. The passenger was transported in moderate condition by Medic 9.
Medic 3 transported the driver of the second vehicle to the hospital in stable condition.
The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
