At 3:15 p.m.,  Zone 5 officers were dispatched to the 6400 block of Centre Ave. for reports of a person who had been stabbed at that location. 

Officers arrived and met with a female victim who relayed that a known actor had fled the scene. Officers were provided with a direction of flight and a description of the individual.

Two officers began searching for the actor while others stayed on scene to begin first aid and update responding medics.  

While on scene, officers were then alerted to a second female victim in the house.  Officers began rendering aid and updated responding medics to the serious nature of the second victim.

Medics arrived and treated the first victim for superficial wounds to her arm as they continued to render aid to the second victim and transported her to the hospital in stable condition. 

There was a short foot pursuit of the female suspect who was taken into custody in the alley in the 6400 block of Centre Ave. 

She was transported to the hospital to be evaluated for medical complaints pending transport to the Allegheny County Jail.
