Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing Overnight in Oakland

Summary:
PIttsburgh Police from Zone 4 were called to an area below the Panther Hollow Bridge in Schenley Park just before 12:30 a.m. for reports of an aggravated assault.
Responding officers located a 17-year-old male with a stab wound to the chest. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition where he was later pronounced deceased.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene.
There are no arrests at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
