Pittsburgh Police Investigate Fatal Shooting Following ShotSpotter Alert in Mount Oliver

Summary:
Just before 9:15 p.m., Mount Oliver Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert for four rounds fired at 425 Brownsville Road in Mount Oliver.
A 17-year-old male victim was later located on the Pittsburgh side of the border of Brownsville Road with gunshot wounds to the head and neck.
Medics transported him to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene.
Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating. The investigation is ongoing.
