Just before 6:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5, EMS, and Fire were dispatched to the 6100 block of Meadow Street for reports of a vehicle into an occupied structure.
Inside the vehicle, first responders located an adult female driver, a child in the front passenger seat, and a baby in a car seat in the back. The child and the baby were taken by medics to Children's Hospital in stable condition with non-life-threating injuries. The driver, their mother, was also transported for evaluation.
A child who was in the living room area of the house when the crash occurred was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Inspectors from the Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections were called to evaluate the integrity of the structure, which was condemned. The Red Cross was notified to help provide temporary accommodations for the occupants of the home.
Police are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
