Police Investigate After Five People Shot in the Middle Hill DistrictÂ

Summary:
Police from Zone 2 responded to three ShotSpotter alerts for multiple rounds fired in the area of the 2100 block of Webster Avenue just after 10:45 p.m., followed by 9-1-1 calls for two people shot at Jay's Lounge.
Medics transported the two gunshot victims to the hospital in serious condition.
Three additional victims showed up at area hospitals by private means.
At time of writing, three of the victims are listed in critical condition and one has been released from the hospital.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed the scene and Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
