Police Investigate Fatal Hit and Run Overnight

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 4 responded to reports of an unresponsive male found in the middle of the road in the 2300 block of 2nd Avenue just before 10 p.m.
The male had suffered severe head injuries. Officers began CPR until Medic Unit 7 pronounced the male deceased at the scene.
The Mobile Crime and Violent Crime units were notified.
The Collision Investigation Unit is investigating.
The investigation is ongoing.
