Police Investigate After Male Suffers Gunshot Wound Inside South Side Business

Summary:
Just before 9 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3, EMS, and Fire responded to the 2100 block of E. Carson Street for a male in his 20s with a gunshot wound.
Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
The initial investigation reveals that two males were in the bathroom of a bar when one of the males says he accidentally discharged a round, hitting the victim in the hip. There was no indication from the victim that any type of altercation or argument had occurred.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
