Police Investigate Shooting in Perry South Neighborhood Overnight

Summary:
Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 responded to a ShotSpotter notification for multiple rounds fired in the 2600 block of Perrysville Avenue just before 5 a.m.
Arriving units located an adult male victim with at least three gunshot wounds. Medics transported him to the hospital in critical condition where he was taken into surgery.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
