Police Investigate Aggravated Assault in the West End

Summary:
Just after 3:15 p.m, Pittsburgh Police from Zone 6 were called to Wabash Street at Sawmill Run Blvd. for reports of a female shot.
The victim was transported to the hospital by medics in stable condition with gunshot wounds to her hand and leg. She provided police with identifying information about the suspect, who is known to her and who fled the area in a vehicle.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
