Pittsburgh Bureau of Police units from Zone Five responded to a ShotSpotter alert of shots fired at the intersection of Penn Avenue and N. Fairmount Street in Garfield at 1:35 p.m.
When officers arrived on scene they found a male victim who had received two gunshot wounds to the neck and shoulder. He was conscious and alert.
The victim was transported by EMS to a local hospital in stable condition.
Police are investigating.
