Pittsburgh Police Violent Crime Unit detectives and the Fugitive Apprehension Unit, working with the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force, took Richard Worley into custody in the early hours of September 5 in New York City.
Worley was wanted for the August 20, 2023 non-fatal shooting of a female in the West End.
He faces multiple charges including: Criminal Attempt Homicide, Aggravated Assault, Possession of a Firearm Prohibited, Firearms not to be Carried Without a License, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.
