Pittsburgh Police Respond to Stabbing in Upper Lawrenceville

Summary:
At approximately 8:30 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 2 responded to the 100 block of 54th Street for reports of a stabbing.
Arriving units located a male victim with stab wounds to his ribs and hand following an altercation with a coworker. He was alert and conscious when talking to officers.
Medics transported him to the hospital in stable condition.
A female suspect is in custody. Zone 2 detectives will continue the investigation.
