Summary:
Pittsburgh Police detectives from Zone 1 investigated a complaint by the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank regarding two individuals who were fraudulently collecting money under the guise of working for the organization.
A food bank employee reported seeing and confronting the two who were collecting money using buckets and carrying unauthorized/outdated Food Bank ID cards outside Acrisure Stadium during the Rib Fest weekend from August 30 to September 4.
Police arrested William Roberson, 59, and Diane Plymire, 55, of Pittsburgh.
Roberson and Plymire face the following charges: Theft by Deception, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Identity Theft, and Conspiracy.
