Police Investigate Aggravated Assault in Marshall Shadeland

Summary:
Just before 11:45 p.m., Zone 1 officers responded to a 9-1-1 call for shots fired in the 1400 block of Woods Run Avenue.
Arriving units initially canvassed the area for victims, with negative results. A second 9-1-1 call reported a male was shot outside Young Brothers bar. Officers located a male who would not show them his injuries and refused medical treatment.
Police called Pittsburgh EMS and convinced him to go to the hospital after observing a possible wound to his leg. Medics located a graze wound on the back of his thigh. He was transported in stable condition.
Mobile Crime Unit detectives processed evidence at the scene. Violent Crime Unit detectives will be investigating.
