Police Investigate Shooting in Allentown

Summary:
At approximately 8:30 p.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 3 responded to the Unit block of Allen Street for reports of a male shot.
Arriving officers located a 39-year-old male on the front porch of a house with a gunshot wound to his upper thigh. He was alert and conscious when speaking with officers. He was transported by medics in stable condition.
Responding officers located a second crime scene further down Allen Street, near Proctor Way. No other injuries were reported.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at both scenes. Violent Crime Unit detectives are continuing the investigation.
