Police Investigate Overnight Homicide

Summary:
Just before 4 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 5 responded to a local hospital for a male gunshot victim who had arrived in critical condition by private vehicle.
The victim succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
Police received information that the shooting may have occurred in the 1500 block of Lincoln Avenue. They found a scene at that location where a vehicle was struck by gunfire and other ballistic evidence was recovered.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
