Juvenile Male Shot inside Brighton Heights Residence, Police Investigating

Summary:
Just before 3:15 a.m., Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 were dispatched to the 3400 block of Fleming Avenue for reports of an aggravated assault.
Responding officers attended to a 17-year-old male with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Pittsburgh EMS transported him to the hospital in critical, but stable condition where he was taken into surgery.
A male suspect who did not live in the home reportedly fled on foot before police arrived.
The Mobile Crime Unit processed evidence at the scene. Plainclothes detectives will be investigating.
