Summary:
The Pittsburgh Police Fugitive Apprehension Unit, Violent Crime Unit detectives, and the U.S. Marshals Western Pennsylvania Fugitive Task Force took 17-year-old Diontae Carter into custody on a homicide warrant for the September 19, 2023 shooting death of Mohamed Hussein on Excelsior Street.
He was arrested without incident.
Carter is charged as an adult under Act 33 with Criminal Homicide, Robbery, Carrying a Firearm Without a License, and Possession of a Firearm by a Minor.
He was transported to Allegheny County Jail.
