Pittsburgh Police officers from Zone 2 responded to a ShotSpotter alert of shots fired in the 2500 block of Bedford Avenue at 11:50 p.m.
When they arrived on scene they discovered a vehicle that had been struck by a bullet.
The Mobile Crime Unit arrived to process the scene.
Shortly thereafter, police were advised of a male victim who had arrived at a local hospital by private means with a gunshot wound below his left knee. He told police it happened while he was walking on Bedford Avenue.
The investigation continues.
