Pittsburgh Police plainclothes detectives from Zone 4, with the assistance of University of Pittsburgh Police, have made an arrest in the September 28, 2023 robbery of two female Pitt students in Oakland.
The suspect intimated he had a gun and forced the girls to walk, while holding on to him, to an ATM on Fifth Avenue to withdraw money.
Eric Ingram, 53, of Pittsburgh was arrested in the early hours of October 3. He is charged with two felony counts of Robbery, two counts of Unlawful Restraint, and two counts of False Imprisonment.
Ingram was transported to the Allegheny County Jail.
