Police, EMS, Fire Respond to Vehicle in the Allegheny River

Summary:

At approximately 5 p.m. Police. EMS, and Fire responded to the North Shore River Walk near the Tribute to Children Memorial for a vehicle in the Allegheny River.

A female, who was identified as the driver of the vehicle, was located on the River Walk. She was unhurt.

River Rescue divers ensured there were no other occupants inside the vehicle, which was later towed from the water.

Police are investigating.
