Police Investigate Shooting Incident in Marshall-Shadeland

Summary:
At approximately 10 a.m., Zone 1 officers were dispatched to Geyer Ave. and Shadeland Ave. for two ShotSpotter alerts totaling eight rounds.
Responding units located a male in the area of Schimmer St. and Staho Way suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. Medics transported him to the hospital where he was last listed in stable condition.
Two firearms were recovered during the investigation and a house in the 3100 block for Shadeland Avenue was also damaged by gunfire.
Mobile Crime Unit detectives processed the scene and the Violent Crime Unit is investigating.
